The Fort Worth Star Telegram recaps Austin-based Capitol Inside's third annual Political Consultants Scoring Index, ranking the top political consultants in the state based on how their candidates did in the most recent election. The top Texas political consultant: Fort Worth-based Bryan Eppstein, whose winning candidates included U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison and three members of the state legislature.
In 2004, Capitol Inside said Eppstein was "widely recognized as one of the best political minds on either side of the aisle in Texas," adding that Eppstein "concentrated on the Legislature and run hundreds of campaigns for House and Senate candidates, winning far more than he's lost."
I'd give you a link to Eppstein's website but, according to D Magazine, he doesn't have one.
