The American Association of Political Consultants hosts an annual awards program, the "Pollie Awards," which the AAPC describes as "the national showcase of Political and Public Affairs excellence."
The focus of the Pollies rotates each year between the political and public affairs fields, which makes sense given the 2-year electoral cycle. The 2006 Pollies, held in March, recognized achievement in the public affairs arena. Download the winners' list here.
