The January 2007 edition of State Legislatures, the monthly magazine of the National Conference of State Legislatures, has a lengthy story about whether bloggers who cover their state legislature should be granted press credentials. While the NCSL normally puts its magazine content behind a firewall for access by legislators and legislative staff only, at my request NCSL public affairs manager Nicole Casal Moore has graciously made it available to all at this link without a password, at least for a short period of time. You can read more about the NCSL's growing acceptance of bloggers as legitimate media here and here.
