PoliticalDerby.com has released its latest edition of the 2008 White House Power Rankings, which ranks the current horse race for the Republican and Democratic nominations and explains why each candidate or potential-candidate in the field is rising, falling or holding steady. It's a very good read. On the GOP side, they've got Arizona Sen. John McCain in the lead, followed by former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, trailed in order by Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback, forrmer House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter, former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore, and U.S. Rep. Mike Pence.
U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado is described as threatening to break into the top 10 and replace Pence.
