RedState has a powerful piece on U.S. Rep. Bobby Jindal, who later this year will very likely be elected governor of Louisiana, to replace the disastrous Democrat Kathleen Blanco - and why he deserves it and why Louisiana needs him.
There are precious few people in America who, given the choice between a cushy Washington career and the task of governing the ungovernable, would choose the path Bobby Jindal has.
"Read the whole thing" is a common phrase in the blogosphere, tossed around easily. But this time, really, read the whole thing. Louisiana, America and the Republican Party need more people like Bobby Jindal. And I suspect - and hope - that after his two successful terms as governor of Louisiana, he'll move onto the national stage oh, about eight years from now.

Bobby will be the next president after Fred Thompson. He did get a raw deal in the governor's race against Blanco, but what do you expect? I think he has his eyes on the WH and so he should. I will vote for him, and the country needs him!
