President Bush more popular than Congress according to a new Gallup Poll, wich found public support for Congress has slipped below 30 percent. Just 29 percent of Americans approve of Congress, down from 33 percent in, while Bush's approval rating is holding steady at 33%.
What's this mean? For one, it means that the majority-Democratic Congress - lead by Democrats Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi - isn't even all that popular with Democrats. And it means that more people approve of the job that Bush is doing, which presumably includes his new Iraq strategy, then approve of the defeatist Democrats' insistent calls for retreat and self-inflicted defeat.
