The Hoover Institution at Stanford University has just posted a 15-minute interview with Republican presidential almost-candidate Fred Thompson by Peter Robinson, a Fellow at the Hoover Institution, on Google Video.
It's a nice serious counterpoint to Thompson's appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night as Robinson speaks with Fred Thompson about his candidacy for President of the Unites States and delves into the key issues facing America today, the politics of running for president, and the source of Thompson's conservative views.
Turns out that Thompson is a movement conservative, inspired to become active in politics by the founder of modern American conservatism.
