The Washington Post profiles Jeri Kehn Thompson, wife of soon-to-be-official president candidate Fred Thompson. It's an interesting read - and no doubt will cause many to wonder why the mainstream media tends to write gushing soft-focus profiles of the wives of Democratic candidates but when it comes to writing about the wives of Republican candidates, the MSM instead digs for dirt.
One line in the WaPo story caught my eye. It indicated that in 1997 Jeri Kehn worked "at a small Nashville firm that provided daily news summaries to health-care companies."
In 1998 and into 1999 I did some contract writing work for a small Nashville firm that provided daily news summaries to health-care companies. It was a company in the process of going out of business. Kehn didn't work there when I was there. I wonder if it was the same company.
