When you put together the following facts - Barack Obama's big fundraising lead over Hillary Clinton while trailing her badly in the polls, and Obama's increasingly numerous ignorant statements about the war and military policy, you realize that, just perhaps, while the extremist Left of the Democratic Party is happy to shovel its dollars into the Obama campaign, the saner quarters of that party are smart enough not to actually vote the guy into the Oval Office.
Ed Morrissey has it right:
Obama started this primary campaign looking like a man with a future in the Democratic Party. His asinine pronouncements on military affairs and foreign policy now make him look like someone drowning in two feet of water. Besides having a nice voice and a pleasant disposition, the man has nothing to offer. He's an empty suit, a man who doesn't engage his brain before activating his jaw.
Obama isn't ready for prime time and, increasingly, it is doubtful that he ever will be. Danger zone ahead though - he's a media darling and as his campaign continues to fail to catch fire with moderate Democrats, watch for him to increasingly ally himself with the fanatics of the DailyKos/MoveOn.org wing of the Democratic Party - the pro-surrender, anti-American victory wing.

While Obama does not have the experience of Hillary Clinton, he definitely not an empty suit. He has more than a decade of elected leadership and countless other contributions to society to his name.
But Hillary has more experience (life and elected) than most of the republican presidential candidates. I can't wait to see them debate her. Should be interesting...
