Following the news yesterday that die-hard Yankee fan Rudy Giuliani proclaimed in the Red Sox Nation (New Hampshire) he was pulling for the Red Sox in the World Series, today he is getting crucified by the New York tabloids.
One wonders if Colorado had been one of the early primary states if he would be proclaiming his love for the Rockies. Talk about pandering...
A Yankee fan pulling for the Red Sox is like a Michigan fan pulling for Ohio State.
Now we can't discount Rudy's committment to his Yankees, he did publicly pull for them over the New York Mets in the World Series a few years back while he was the Mayor of New York.
As First Read points out, Bill Richardson, from the Southwest, claims he is both a Yankee and Red Sox fan(?) and Hillary Clinton, a Chicago native and lifelong Cubs fan, couldn't say if she'd support the Cubs or the Yankees if both made the World Series. But okay, that one is excusable since she does represent New York.
"Seriously, this is why some are so cynical about politicians..."
