The Florida Democratic Party is suing the Democratic National Committee over the DNC's decision to strip the FDP of its primary delegates. At issue is the decision of Florida Democrats to hold its primary earlier than "prescribed".
While we never want to take sides in intra party disputes, we're going to have to go ahead and side with the Florida Democrats on this one. The principle of one man-one vote is just too strong to ignore.
It is amusing that the Democratic Party, the party who was integral in extending voters' rights and claims the mantle of "Civil Rights", is now on the forefront of taking them away.
This is just another example of people in Washington, DC thinking they know what is better for people in the states. And another example of them being out of touch.

The RNC is doing the same thing to the republican delegates...and what this has to do with "civil right" I don't know.
Welcome to the Elephant Biz blog, John. Don't step in any elephant piles! ;~)
