Tucker Carlson made an interesting assertion on his show today that Hillary Clinton is a neconservative. Neoconservativism is basically the idea that got us into Iraq in the first place, and many of the President's early (and current) advisers are self-proclaimed neocons.
Carlson asserted that Clinton is a neocon in the sense that her world view is not much different from Bush's. They both share the idea that we can use our military agressively in order to bring about positive change in the world (or shape the world in our image). And while she has moderated her stance towards Iraq, she takes a hawkish stance towards Iran and North Korea, and she is by no means the pacifist in the Democratic race.
Food for thought.
