According to Graniteprof, here are the latest totals each candidate's ad buy on WMUR-TV. It's likely the candidates have similar sized buys on the other network stations in New Hampshire:
McCain: Oct. 26 to Nov. 4, $72,700 for 99 spots.Paul: "next week," $18,600 for 22 spots.Romney: Dates: October 24-30, $158,825, 140 spots.
Romney has set the benchmark for advertising in the state, and if McCain maintains a close enough ad buy schedule with Romney his numbers should climb alongside with Romney.
Paul's small buy signals an earned media stunt, but he has more than enough money to stay on air through election day. Giuliani is likely to go on air in the state soon to follow up his ongoing efforts and his ad buy will likely be on par with Romney and McCain.
The wild card of course is Iowa and how its accompanying news cycle plays out. But the Biz thinks it won't have as much of an effect as the pundits think...
