
Tonight is the Republican CNN/YouTube debate, and it could be Mike Huckabee's moment. If you'll recall, this is the debate that was almost cancelled because Mitt Romney objected to having to answer questions from a snowman.
This is the first debate that Huckabee enters as a true first tier candidate. On the one hand, it means that he will get more face time. On the other, it means that he's got a target on his back.
Also look to see if the Rudy vs. Mitt narrative comes into play. Their attacks against one another have become more personal in nature in recent days with each comparing the other to Hillary Clinton(!). If they take the opportunity to confront one another on the charges and it gets personal on that stage, it could be a moment for Huckabee who could hold his head high and stay on message.
