
While everyone was distracted by the debate on Wednesday, a new Iowa poll came out that puts Mike Huckabee in the lead for the first time:

November 26-27, 2007Huckabee 28%
Romney 25%
Giuliani 12%
Thompson 11%
Paul 5%
McCain 4%
Tancredo 4%
Hunter 1%
While the results are still within the margin of error, this is huge news for Huckabee who has surpassed Mitt Romney for the first time this campaign. And it couldn't have come at a worse time for Romney who is seeing his leads in all the early primary states slipping with challenges from Rudy Giuliani in New Hampshire and Fred Thompson in South Carolina.
