Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney are at it again, this time trading barbs over illegal immigration.
Giuliani's camp is out with a creative new series called MITT'S FITTS complete with Romney's record on immigration:
“Campaign Trail Mitt Romney’s newfound interest in illegal immigration stands in stark contrast to his record as Governor. On Governor Romney’s watch, the number of illegal immigrants in Massachusetts skyrocketed, aid to Massachusetts sanctuary cities went through the roof and Governor Romney even went so far as to hire illegals to work on his lawn. Once again, what Campaign Trail Romney says has very little in common with what Governor Romney did.”
Similarly, Romney's camp is out with the headline (and accompanying graphic) Sanctuary State of Mind that includes Giuliani's record on immigration:
"You don't promote a lawful society by condoning illegality. As governor, I opposed driver's licenses for illegals, vetoed tuition breaks for illegals and combatted sanctuary city policies by authorizing the state police to enforce federal immigration law. As president, I will secure the border and reject sanctuary policies by cities, states or the federal government."
