Ron Paul, without lifting a finger, is turning the conventional wisdom of raising money on its head and proving once again his grassroots support and his viability as a major candidate. He has raised more than $2 million online since last night; fueled in large part by his supporters. Per Jonathan Martin:
In what is being called a "money bomb," Paul's fervent backers spread the word that today they'd blast their candidate with Internet contributions, setting up a website, "This November 5th," to push the plan. An aide said they had nothing to do with the effort.
"Supporters have spontaneously organized what I can only refer to as a one-day attack of donations," said Paul spokeswoman Kate Rick. "We started at midnight with $2.77 million raised for the quarter, and have, as of 9:36 am, climbed up to over $4.1."
As of 12:27, Paul had raised $4.73 million total.
We're making the call now, Ron Paul finishes 3rd or better (we bet better, but will be Conservative) in New Hampshire.

Don't jump the gun. Just having money doesn't get you votes. If that were the case, we should all just go home and let Romney have the nomination--and Hillary the Presidency.
The problem that Ron Paul will find is that he will have the money to put his message out, but then people will hear what he believes! That will allow people to see just how much of a kook he is.
