Mike Huckabee is continuing with his ad blitz, out today with new ads in the Triumvirate states.
Iowa:
South Carolina and New Hampshire:
Per Graniteprof, the Huckabee campaign has bought 53 spots, at a cost of $36,600, to run from Today to Dec. 16 on WMUR-TV, the only New Hampshire based station. It's likely that they have made similar buys (spots wise) Boston stations that covers part of New Hampshire, and on the SC and IA stations.
Huckabee has been catching fire for his less-than-conservative stances on immigration, and the Iowa ad is an attempt to get out in front and build his credibility on the issue before one of his opponents is up on air attacking him on it.
The latter ad, the first to air in NH and SC, keeps on Huckabee's strong family image with a hint of populism. It's an effective introduction to the east coast who is just now getting hit by "Huckamania."
