
First Read has a new poll that shows Huckabee with the lead for the first time in South Carolina:

As we had looked at previously, this race could very well winnow into a North vs. South affair, and this latest poll is an indication that Southerners are beginning to settle on Huckabee. While other polls across the South still show Fred Thompson with a commanding lead, a win (or second place) showing in South Carolina coupled with a win in Iowa will change some minds heading into Tsunami Tuesday.
