It's funny how easily people forget politics. Rudy Giuliani, when questioned about his past donations to Planned Parenthood now claims ignorance on the purpose of the organization. Per Jonathan Martin:
“Those were contributions that were made by my wife and by me at the time. I can't remember exactly the reasons for them, but Planned Parenthood, I also always thought, is an organization that made information available about adoption.”
Given Planned Parenthood's history of breaking the law and concealing their intentions, confusion about the organization is understandable. But for the former Mayor of New York City in 1990, who needed Planned Parenthood's support to get elected...
Something doesn't seem quite right. How can one proclaim to "hate abortion," yet at the same time promote government financing of abortions and donate their own money to the largest abortion provider in the country? Cognitive dissonance?
Actions speak louder than words.
