
I was looking through the Democratic exit polls and John Edwards' numbers jumped out at me. Edwards, the man who spoke early and often of "Two Americas" and was the face (literally, no one can figure out exactly what he actually did) for an anti-poverty non-profit fared the worst among - wait for it - poor people.
He garnered the support of 17% of New Hampshire voters, but among people who make 'Under $15,000' he only got 13% and among people who make '$15,000-29,999" he got 15%. Additionally, among people who did not complete high school (a key part of his parents' stump story) he only garnered 11%.
