A new poll from the February 5th state of California has John McCain leading the field among likley voters:
McCain 20%
Romney 16%
Giuliani 14%
Huckabee 13%
Paul 8%
Thompson 6%
It's hard to say how much a California poll is worth at this point. Each one of California's 54 districts awards 3 delegates. There are no delegates for second place.
Ron Paul and Fred Thompson could potentially win zero delegates even if they took their respective percentages statewide; conversely John McCain could all the delegates. Adding to the uncertainty is how South Carolina and Florida's contests will affect the dynamic of the race.
