UPDATE 11:27 AM EST: McCain just announced that he will not be travelling to Europe this weekend.
John McCain will travel to London on Friday making a stop at 10 Downing Street where he will meet with Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
The image of McCain and Brown together will strengthen McCain's international credentials both at home and abroad. Politics is about building relationships, and it is never too early, or too late, to start one.
Brown had previously met with Rudy Giuliani when Giuliani was the front runner in the Republican race; and he met Hillary Clinton while she was First Lady.
When Giuliani traveled to the country, he held a fundraiser with American expats. It will be interesting to see if McCain whose campaign still needs money does the same.
